Off My Chest!!!

The Crossroads of Life! As I look back over my life, I have to stop and wonder where I would be today if I had taken a different turn at my fork in the road. You know, If I had  gone in another direction other than the one I took. I was born near the end of a dirt road, Arch Helms Rd. where it intersects with Highway 49 south in rural Sumter Count some seven miles outside of Americus Ga. Which is the county seat.This road was later paved. As the grandson of a black sharecropper I at that time did not have many choices at that time from which to choose. Although there are many stories that I could tell you about my early life experiences,but I will save that for later because I want to discuss taking and making the right roads in this thing that we call life. It involves meeting and surrounding yourself with the right people. Positive people! I know now at my present age and as I look back and reflect on my life travels that I took my wrong roads with many of the wrong people.
