The Person In the Mirror! When you see yourself in the mirror are you happy and satisfied with the person staring back at you? Whether you are shaving, brushing your teeth, putting on your make-up or just sitting or standing there staring at yourself? Are you happy with the life that you represent? If You Could??? If you could spend a day with anyone in your life that is deceased, who would you choose to spend it with? At what point in their life would you want that day to be. I certainly would not want it to be at a time when they were sick. I would want it to be when they were at their best. What would you say to them? Would you spend that day talking or doing something that they like to do? What would you say to them? Would you tell them how much you love them and miss them? Especially if you did not tell them this while they were here with you. There is a choice between three that are among the deceased that I would like to spend the day with if it was possible. My mother, my grandfather and Leroy Searcy. Leroy was my childhood best friend that passed away due to cancer at the age of 16. Of the three I would have to say I would choose my mother because I did not get to say goodbye before she passed away. As a child I spent a great deal of time with her during my teen years. There are some here in this country that are embracing Putin's Russia because they believe that if they bring this type of thinking to America that they will maintain power. What is going on in your world around you? There are those out there that would have you believe that there is no global warming when we have been literally burning up all summer. I know that here at night it stayed in the 80's all night. That our air unit has been constantly run around the clock almost nonstop. I got out of bed early some morning and turned it off just so that it could get a break. Yet the Republican cult party wants you to think Mother Earth will solve this problem all by herself. They say this because they want to protect the polluters from regulations by the federal government. We have got to vote for those that will protect the environment and not those that are lining their pockets. How many people do you know that have lost their lives of property due to something related to the environment that we are currently living in? I bet you can think of at least one! At our present course pretty soon the insurance company will not insure us. Some are already doing that in Fla. and Cal. because they are losing too much money. So all I am saying is you need to look around you to see what is going on. A lot is happening right now and it is closer than you think. I am amazed that some in this country would like to pretend that slavery did not happen, and that they are not to blame for the way that the slaves were brutalized and even killed! Not only that, what about the native Americans and the way that they were treated and they were here first. Imagine if you will for a moment that you owned this beautiful home out in the country on let say on 500 acres of land that your family have owned for generations. Then all of a sudden some you do not know have never heard of come out of nowhere and claim 100 of your 500 acres and tell you that they want it for themselves. Just think how you would feel and you will do everything you can to get them off your land.
